Whilst the choice is yours on how to get to the venue, the easiest and quickest is flying from London to Marseille Airport. Both British Airways and Easy Jet fly direct.

We’re thrilled to welcome you to Aix-en-Provence for our wedding! Aix has plenty to offer depending on how you envisage your time away. Aix centre (centre historique) will provide the easiest location for those looking to explore the town from their doorstep - Friday's pre wedding drinks will also be held in the area so not too far to stumble home. The wedding venue itself is located in a small village called Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, roughly 20 minutes away. The list below isn't extensive with more options readily available on booking.com or Air BnB to suit all needs.

Cours Mirabeau

  • Tree-lined avenue in the heart of Aix, lined with cafes and shops where you can admire the famous Fontaine de la Rotonde.

 

Saint-Sauveur Cathedral

  • A cathedral with a mix of architectural styles, blending Romanesque and Gothic elements

 

Atelier Cézanne

  • Visit the studio of Paul Cézanne, where he painted many of his masterpieces. The studio is preserved as it was in the artist’s time, offering insight into his creative process.

 

Les Allées Provençales

  • Modern shopping area with a mix of high-end shops and local boutiques

 

Place d'Albertas

  • Charming square with stunning architecture and a beautiful fountain. It’s a perfect spot for a coffee break or to enjoy the ambiance.

 

Musée Granet

  • An art museum housing works from the 14th to 20th centuries, including pieces by Cézanne, Picasso, and Van Gogh

 

Local Markets

  • Visit the daily markets, particularly the market on Place Richelme for fresh produce, cheeses, and local delicacies
